The Association works to raise awareness of the benefits of CCS as a climate change mitigation technology as well as assisting policy developments in the UK, EU and internationally towards a long term regulatory and financial framework for CCS, as a means of abating carbon dioxide emissions.
Earthscan was originally founded by the International Institute for Environment and Development in 1987, and we continue to publish in association with them and with other environmental and development organizations world wide. We are an independent company and our books and journals are distributed throughout the world.
The GEC includes a community section, in which members can network with other interesting energy industry professionals and share their ideas in discussion groups. Besides that, members and website visitors will find a job exchange, an event calendar and much information about the energy industry on the GEC website.

All ACI’s events attract a targeted group of senior level decision-makers and researchers from industry. Our meetings are strictly end-user focused. Only a select group of companies are invited to sponsor the event to ensure the emphasis is on the industry participants, and making sure our delegates have a valuable and positive experience. As part of the Carbon Capture & Storage Summit you will have the opportunity to attend a site visit to the the Ketzin pilot site, just a short drive from the conference venue in Berlin. The visit will comprise a tour of the facilities including technical explanations. Numbers for the visit are strictly limited and so early registration is recommended in order to secure your place.
