ACI’s 2nd Annual Ship Management Conference follows on from the success of our inaugural conference in February 2009. Over the past year relationships between owners and managers have become strained, costs for owners to outsource their commercial, technical and crewing management have spiralled as ship managers struggle to cope with rising costs. The event will tackle issues that have arisen for owners and managers when managing their ships in the current economic climate. Topics include finance, the environment, crewing, piracy and predictions concerning the future of ship management. Attendees will also hear about the strategies shipowners and managers putting in place to achieve greater competitive advantage in the economic upturn.
